... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 130 PM CDT for
northern Mitchell... northeastern Howard... Scurry and southeastern
Borden counties...

At 1123 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain continues to
fall south of Snyder near Dunn. This precipitation was moving east
at 20 mph. Additional flooding is possible.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the Deep Creek near Deep Creek Dunn 1w.
* From this afternoon to Wednesday morning, or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 8am Tuesday the stage was 6.7 feet (2.0 meters).
* Flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet (4.3 meters).
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to
rise to near 14.9 feet (4.5 meters) by this afternoon. The river
will fall below flood stage by this evening.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet (4.3 meters), low water channel banks
overflow. No damage is expected.

This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.2 feet (4.0 meters) on
Jun 17 2015.

area. Tropical funnels differ from the typical Spring Time
tornado and rarely reach the ground. On the rare occasion that
they do reach the ground gusty winds to around 60 to 70 mph are
possible. Tropical funnels are usually brief however some times
their occurrence can be numerous for a few hours.
