... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 3 PM CST this
afternoon...

* snow/sleet/ice accumulations... ice accumulations up to one
quarter inch... .1 to 2 inches of sleet... less than an inch of
snow.

* Timing... through 12 PM CST Thursday afternoon.

* Impacts... travel will become hazardous. A few downed trees and
power lines are possible with sporadic power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

The Flood Warning continues for
the little Tallahatchie canal at Etta
* from Thursday March 05 until Friday March 06.
* At 10 PM Wednesday the stage was 23.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 25.5 feet Thursday March 05.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Thursday March 05 and
continue to rise to near 25.5 feet by Thursday March 05.The river
will fall below flood stage by Friday March 06.
* At 26.0 feet... County Highway 47 near Mud Creek and Mill Creek has
6 to 12 inches of water over it. Several thousand acres of crop
land are flooded.
