... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 am Saturday to
midnight akst Saturday night...

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for blowing snow and winds which is in effect
from 6 am Saturday to midnight akst Saturday night.

* Blowing snow and snow... reducing visibility to one half mile or
less at times.

* Winds... becoming northwest and increasing to 20 to 35 mph
gusting to 50 mph.

* Timing... winds increasing early Saturday with conditions
deteriorating in the morning.

* Impacts... visibility will be greatly reduced and snow will
accumulate into drifts. Whiteout conditions may occur. Travel
and outdoor activities will be difficult.
