awesome photograph. I can even see a tiny spider web tugging on the tiptop spike of the flower on the right pulling it toward the next one. Such a delightful bush. Do they ever get dew on them...that would be just more beauty than one could comprehend...

I think they were from the sandman :) It was a bush about 3 feet high that was covered with these and growing in the sandy wash. Some kind of desert dweller....
