Today's bounty from our garden. I placed the satalight view on the row of berries I picked from. The grass is greener than the late summer satalight image.

Yum! I remember having delicious berry pie when I was in Oregon. I think it was called "brumble", with all those wondeful berries you folks have!

I made pie last night, with vanilla icecream, a summer favorite!

As sweet as Oregon blackberries. And, oh the vanilla icecream (especially French vanilla) with marionberry pie is heaven. Lucky you.

Oh, you are bringing back memories of my years in OR. We loved the Marionberries, especially in pie. Occasionally I see a jar of Marionberry jam at Trader Joe's.

About Olbetsy
Olbetsy I am somewhat new to photography. I purchased a digital camera in 2003 and the hobby swiftly took hold. My camera gets me out and about and has enhanced all my senses to find what this world has to offer. I am also a quilt artist and I use my photography to help me understand color and form that can transfer into quilt art. I am an active member of Emerald Photographic Society and was honored as most promising photographer in 2007 and photographer of the year in 2008. I have recently had images published in National Geographic and the National Wildlife refuge library. There are three contributors to my success. I carry my camera (s) with me most of the time and I committed to shooting at least 100 images a day. I anticipate everything but expect nothing. Most importatly I have grown to appreciate fellow photographers for insights, tips and all around friendship as much as the hobby itself. I love to see through the eyes of others and WU is a favorite place to visit. I am inspired by the talent found here and have a never ending itch to travel and learn!
