Thanks Robert, you are correct it is an Amarylis. Almost forgot to bring it out of the basement this year. It ended up with 7 blooms from one bulb.

I suspect it is an Amaryllis. Whatever the name, it is beautiful. Excellent photograph.

Too funny Eileen. This is a hybird lily developed for my wife. Not sure about the correct name.
