THanks David, Wanda, Mara, & Julia! Yes Mara they are hard. If you leave your shutter open for 4 or 5 seconds the lightning flash is too bright, even if you have it on 100 iso/40 aperature... lol... it just makes it tricker to have the shutter open for less time & actually catch the lighting! A Real challenge for sure.

Now if the lightning is far off & not flashing constantly like it does here then maybe a long shutter time works. But our lightning is very low, & strikes a lot.
