Oh dear, if this has to be the last pic from this spot, I'm delighted to see that it is a Grand Finale!

Bummer! Found out today that I can't park in this driveway anymore. Its an abandoned farm but last winter someone cut the tops off some cedar trees for Xmas trees and now the owner has told the sheriff to shoo everybody away from the property.

The typical scene here. Never see just one. They start herding in a month, then a whole herd could be crossing in front of you. Nice wildlife catch. 10 from SW Iowa

All of them look so relaxed but they weren't that way a few moments earlier. Mom had crossed the road but a car came along and scattered the little guys. Mom had to go back and coral them again.

Beautiful animals! That poor mama needs to check
into a spa and hide out during this year's
mating season! Nice shot, Paul!

Jeans ... all three of the smaller ones are the same ... just the lighting. The photo was taken not long after sunrise.

Thanks Helen ... and there were five bucks sparring in the woods behind her ... all of them eager to take care of things in another month to be sure she has 3 more of them to take care of next year.
Maybe she will get a bye on that this fall though ..
