VERY DEVASTATING AND SAD!!!! Gut wrenching footage and know that we feel helpless at times like this, but offer our spiritual help by sending warm wishes and thoughts to you all out there!! I wish there was a way to weather out storms like these when they happen! I think a concrete bunker home might do the trick??? Thank you so much for taking the time to share these scenes with us!Hugs from S/W Iowa, -Mindi

Thanks for sharing, I travel thru southern illinois often,,,, my heart goes out, I can't imagine what it would be like to loose everything like that, I had an oportunity to go thru the town of Carthsville Mo, about 6 years ago, when a F4 tornado went thru there, it's unexplainable to see it, other then pictures,, just heart wrenching,,

Thinking of anyone affected by these rash of storms/twisters.

Aweful! I find it amazing that among the total devastation that there's a bird house seemingly untouched in the background.
We had two tornadoes in our area last year. Not nearly as devastating.
Our prayers are with you.

Congrats on this photo's selection for BOTH VIP and World View! In fact, TWO of your photos from this series are featured in WV! Now all this needs is an AC for a Triple Crown! The storms are eerily reminiscent of the ones last year over Joplin, Missouri.
