Fawnriver,

Sorry it took so long to reply to you.
The force of these tornadoes were unimaginable for our area. We not get tornadoes hit in this area due to our closeness to the mountains. The area is rebuilding but there were 124 houses totally destroyed so it is going to be hard times to our community for years to come.

About rivertramper
rivertramper I live and manage 52 acres of land in beautiful NE TN just outside of downtown Erwin, TN. The cities you might recognize near me are Asheville, NC about 50 miles away. And Johnson City, TN which is about 18 miles away. As you will see from my pictures this area is absolutely beautiful and abounds with wild animals and scenic by nature. This land sits in a valley and is protected by the forces of nature. I also have Organic Brain Damage so I have taken to sharing my views of part of Erwin, TN via camera for I hardly get around by myself these days for my pain is strong and my memory weak along with so many other issues due to the disease itself. So, wunderland keeps me going on my land and the camera helps me share this area with you. Enjoy!
